Established in 2016 by the New York Ramblers Soccer Club, the Ramblers Scholarship is the only award of its kind that supports undergraduate student athletes of all sports who are members or allies of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Ramblers Scholars receive a one-time scholarship paid directly to their college or university to cover tuition fees, with up to two scholarships of $2,500 typically awarded each year after the January 1 – May 1 application process. Applicants up to 22 years of age from across the United States are reviewed based on their financial need, LGBTQ+ advocacy, leadership in sports, academic excellence, and potential for impact based on their career goals and aspirations. If the application portal is not working, please send your completed application as a Word doc along with all relevant attachments to diversity@nyramblers.com.
